Last Saturday, December 7, 2024, our school’s badminton varsity team made us proud with their exceptional performance at the 7th Interschool Badminton League (ISBL) held at the Centro Atletico Badminton Center. Competing against 19 participating schools, they demonstrated unparalleled determination and skill in a tournament filled with some of the best young players from across the region.
In the bronze medal matches, the Grade School Boys displayed remarkable effort and teamwork as they faced off against Xavier School. Despite the challenging competition, they emerged victorious, earning a well-deserved bronze medal.
The Middle School Boys, participating in their first-ever tournament, showed incredible promise and determination in their match against Don Bosco Tarlac. Their hard work and perseverance paid off as they also secured the bronze medal, marking an impressive debut on the ISBL stage.
Finally, the High School Boys exhibited grit and strategy in their intense battle against Trinitas College. Their resilience and composure under pressure led them to claim the bronze medal in their category, further adding to our school’s list of achievements.
The Middle School Girls team capped off the day with a thrilling finals match against River Ridge High School. Despite their valiant efforts and strong teamwork, they narrowly missed the gold, earning a commendable silver medal with a close 2-1 score.
