CSA HS Teachers and Students Join Nationwide Effort for a Trash-Free Manila Bay

On September 21, 2024, teachers and students from the High School department of Colegio San Agustin (CSA) joined thousands of Filipinos nationwide in a massive coastal cleanup effort aimed at restoring the beauty of Manila Bay. As part of the global movement for environmental preservation, this initiative underscored their commitment to being responsible stewards of God’s creation.

Equipped with gloves and garbage bags, the CSA team worked tirelessly to collect trash, clearing debris from the shoreline and preventing harmful waste from entering the bay’s fragile ecosystem. This initiative not only highlighted the importance of environmental responsibility but also fostered unity among participants, reinforcing the value of teamwork in addressing larger social and ecological issues.

Through their participation, CSA’s teachers and students demonstrated their shared responsibility for the planet, taking tangible steps toward creating a cleaner and more sustainable future. This effort served as a reminder that every action, no matter how small, contributes to the greater goal of protecting the environment for future generations.
